I've been involved in Data Protection for a long time. I worked for 2 of the biggest Local Councils in the UK as their Data Protection Officer for over 10 years and in 2003 with a friend I set up Act Now Training which offers a range of training courses plus many resources and services to help organisations comply with information law.

I was also for nearly 10 years an examiner for the ISEB certificates in DP & FOI. Now I deliver these courses for Act Now Training.

I've also been involved with NADPO, SOCITM, the Yorkshire & Humber DP and IG forum and have spoken at national and international conferences on Data Protection.
